| The presentation inscription in this album of drawings to "Prof. Dr. Karl Koetschau" is signed by the author Edwin Redslob and dated 1918 in Weimar. The artist Ludwig von Hofmann had been appointed to a professorship at the academy in Weimar in 1903. Koetschau had been the Director of the Grand Ducal Museums and the Goethe National Museum in Weimar from 1907 to 1909. He must have known not only the author but also the artist. His ex libris by A. Uzarski (1917) is laid in. The book is inscribed: Dr. Max Stern, I 213, and stamped: Dominion Gallery.
