| This descriptive catalogue of works from the art collection of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia (1712-1786) exhibited at the Exposition universelle internationale in Paris in 1900, is illustrated with delicate drawings and meticulous etchings by Peter von Halm (1854-1923) reproducing details from the works of art. In 1900 Karl Koetschau was the director of the Ducal Collection of Art and Antiquities on the Veste Coburg. According to the binder's stamp, Koetschau had this book rebound at the Hofbuchbinderei Max Albrecht in Coburg. The book contains his bookplate by E. Liebermann; the endpaper has the ms. inscription: Dr. Max Stern, VIII 19, and is stamped: Dominion Gallery.
