| Of a limited edition of 400 numbered copies, this catalogue raisonné of paintings by Wilhelm Leibl (1844-1900) is number 169. It bears the stamp: Galerie Julius Stern, Düsseldorf, and the ms. inscription: I 261. The publisher's advertisements (2 leaflets and 1 bookmark) are laid in. Also laid in is a two-page typescript list dated 14.10.33 and entitled: "Kurze Angaben über die Herkunft, Darstellung und literarischen Erwähnungen der beiden Gemälde, Der hl. Rochus des Brügger Meisters um 1510 und der Madonna von Gherardo Starmina" (Brief notes on the provenance, representation and references to the literature of the two paintings, St Roch by the Bruges Master about 1510 and the Madonna by Gherardo Starmina), signed "b.w."
