| This study of the art market, prices of paintings and collecting trends has a presentation inscription to Max Stern, dated Palm Beach Florida, 1983, and signed "Thomas (?) Ma..ock"(?). A Classic Bookshop bookmark and an undated Delta Airlines boarding pass for M. Stern are laid in. Stern and his wife were frequent visitors in Palm Beach; Iris Stern died there in December 1978.
