Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Richard M. Pearce of the Rockefeller Foundation. Penfield informs Pearce of an unsolicited check for 10,000 dollars received by his department from the mother of an epileptic patient. He also reports that Dr. William Cone is "being strongly tempted to leave" the RVH, and expresses his hope that it will be possible to convince him to stay.
