Typewritten letter from Richard M. Pearce, Director of the Rockefeller Foundation Division of Medical Education, to Wilder Penfield. Pearce writes that he would be glad to meet with Penfield to discuss his plans for a neurological institute. He expresses his doubt as to whether the Foundation would fund such a project after their recent donation to neurological research at McGill University.

Just above the salutation can be seen a section that appears to have originally been written on and now has been erased.
