Letter from Edward Archibald to Wilder Penfield, November 14, 1927.
Date:
1927-11-14
Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Edward Archibald to Wilder Penfield. In the letter Dr. Archibald expresses his concern over a potential offer of employment made to Dr. Penfield by Peter Bent Brigham Hospital/Boston City Hospital. Knowing that Dr. Penfield is tempted by a possible position in Boston, Dr. Archibald gives reasons as to why a new neurological/neurosurgical practice in Montreal, and the offer from the Royal Victoria Hospital, would be superior to the possible Boston offer. He concludes with the hope that Dr. Penfield will still come to interview for the position at the RVH when an interview date is set. The letter is dated November 14, 1927.
