Description:
Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Robert S. Morison of the Rockefeller Foundation (RF). Penfield inquires as to whether the RF would consider funding a three to five year research project examining the "Temporal Cortex in the Field of the Intellect." He states that the project would require full-time salaries for a neurologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, and a secretary. Penfield ends his letter expressing the Montreal Neurological Institute's gratitude for all the support it has received from the RF in the past 20 years.
