Description:
This is a three page, typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Max Brödel. In the letter Penfield requests that Brödel create a shield for the Montreal Neurological Institute. He then details all of the symbols that will be used on both the interior and the exterior of the Montreal Neurological Institute and seeks Brödel's advice about which of these symbols should be used and how they should be arranged or presented. The letter is dated September 19, 1933.
