This is a black and white photograph of Sir Arthur Currie speaking at the cornerstone laying ceremony at the site of the future Montreal Neurological Institute. The ceremony was held on October 6, 1933. There are a number of guests sitting in the background, on a stage erected for the occasion on the sidewalk and pavement of University Avenue.
