This is an inverted black and white negative image of a turkey standing next to railway tracks. A cylindrical structure, telephone or power poles, trees, and possibly one other bird can also be seen in the image. The image was likely taken during the Penfields’ 1928 European trip, during which they principally visited Breslau, Germany (modern Wrocław, Poland).
