Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to C."H." [F] Martin, of McGill University Faculty of Medicine. Penfield thanks Martin for his detailed reassurances to Penfield's questions. Penfield brings up financial matters relating both to the the budget required to maintain the laboratory, and his personal living expenses and salary. He expresses his gladness that a Dr. Babkin, who studies conditioned reflexes, is also coming to McGill. Penfield writes of his plans to apply for, but general doubts of receiving, a travel grant to study for a short time in Germany. He closes indicating plans regarding a visit by Dr. Cone to Montreal are still in the works.
