Letter from WGP to Charles Martin, February 24, 1928.
Date:
1928-02-24
Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Charles F. Martin. The first portion of the letter refers to the Rockefeller Foundation Grant that is set to create a new neurological centre in Montreal. Penfield assures Martin that this will be larger than an ordinary grant. Secondly, Penfield requests confirmation for a previous agreement that a grant will be secured, valued up to one thousand dollars, for a six month trip. Finally, he informs Martin of the relocation of his colleague Dr. [William Vernon] Cone to Montreal. Penfield is confident that Cone will aid in the development of the neurological centre. There is then a small discussion regarding the ability to transfer licensing and permits to Canada. This letter was written on Feb. 24, 1928.
