Description:
A black and white photograph of two boys on stilts on a sidewalk. There is the shadow of the photographer in the lower left corner of the photograph. The two boys are identified in the photograph’s caption as John and Billy. These are two of the children of the MacQuarrie family. Their father, Thomas William MacQuarrie, had once been a teacher at, and then the principal of, the Galahad School in Hudson Wisconsin. The school had been established in part by Jean Penfield in 1905, and Wilder Penfield was one of its earliest students. This is the fourth photograph of page 104 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
