A black and white photograph of a woman and three children. The children, and possibly the woman, are wearing a form of traditional European costume. The boys may be wearing lederhosen. The children are likely William Merrill Chester’s three children: William Jr., John, and Marion. The woman is likely his wife, Alice (Miller) Chester. Bill Chester had been Dr. Wilder Penfield’s friend and roommate at Princeton University. This image, taken on Christmas, 1926. is the sixth photograph on page 98 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
