Black and white landscape photograph. An extensive mountain range takes up the majority of the photograph. In the foreground, tips of the tree tops can be seen. There is a river running horizontally through the photograph. The sky is cloudy, and the day appears slightly overcast. Believed to have been taken while the Penfields were in the Adirondack Mountains. The photograph is from page 63 of Wilder Penfield's 1919-1927 album.
