A black and white photograph of a girl standing in a doorway with her arms folded behind her back. She appears to be wearing a dress and an apron. The caption identifies her as Alice. She is standing in the doorway of 39 Thistlewaite Road, London, N.E. 5, which was the Penfields’ home when they lived in London from December 1920 to May 1921. This the second photograph from page 39 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
