A black and white photograph of Helen Kermott Penfield and one of the Penfield children on a bicycle. They are in front of 39 Thistlewaite Road, London, N.E. 5, which was the Penfields’ home when they lived in London from December 1920 to May 1921. The title indicates that they are on a trip to Epping Forest, north-east of London. This is the first photograph on page 39 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
