Description:
A black and white photograph of several punt boats in the foreground and the Wadham Barge in the background. Oxford college barges were large flat bottomed boats that were moored on the Isis and used as boat clubs by both spectators and members of college rowing teams. This picture was likely taken during the annual Eights Week in May 1920. It is the third photograph from page 22 of the 1919-1927 album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
