This black and white photograph depicts a battlemented or castellated house on Folly Bridge, Oxford. The house was originally built for the mathematician Joshua Cardwell. It is a castellated house on account of the rooftop architectural style. This is the first photograph from page 13 of the 1919-1927 album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
