Date:
between 1919 and 1927
Description:
A black and white photograph of Wilder Graves Penfield with what appears to be a notebook on his lap. He is identified as Ramon y Cajal in the caption because he was nicknamed as such by Harold M. Carleton. The photograph was likely taken in Charles Sherrington's physiology laboratory, where Penfield and Carleton conducted research during 1919 and 1920. It is the second photograph from page 10 of the 1919-1927 album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
