Photograph is showing what appears to be rock wall formations dotted with foliage, a patch of snow or a river flows through it. It is believed to have been taken in the Swiss Alps. The image is surrounded by a white border.

The Photograph is glued to the twenty-fifth page of Wilder Penfield's 1913-1916 album. It is believed to have been taken during Wilder Penfield's trip through Europe in 1915.
