The man on the right is believed to be Homan and the man on the left, is believed to be Bronner. It is believed to have been taken in Lausanne, Switzerland. The image is surrounded by a white border.

The Photograph is glued to the twenty-fifth page of Wilder Penfield's 1913-1916 album. It is believed to have been taken during Wilder Penfield's trip through Europe in 1915.
