Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Carr Sherrington [son of Charles Sherrington]. Penfield writes of the disappointment felt by everyone in Montreal that Sherrington could not make it for the opening of the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI). He requests help from Carr in gathering material to use in the short sketch of Charles Sherrington's life that is being written by Arthur Elvidge to be published in a volume at the time of the opening.
