Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Lieutenant Colonel C. E. Cross, at the No. 1 Neurological Hospital, to Wilder Penfield. In this letter Lieutenant Colonel Cross writes that the funds used to support the hospital are low and requests that Dr. Penfield arrange for such funds to be replenished. In addition, he claims that the hospital’s staff wished that Dr. Penfield would come and visit them in England, and also confirms that a number of Officers would be attending the meeting of the British Neurological Society which was being held the following day. He concludes by wishing the Penfields and their friends well. The letter is dated July 19, 1941.
