Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to David Keys, Executive Secretary of McGill University’s War Services Advisory Board. In the letter Dr. Penfield apologizes for forgetting to invite Dr. Keys to the Bon Voyage Dinner that was held in honour of the Montreal Neurological Institute staff deploying overseas. He explains that while Dr. Charles Matrin had stressed the need to ask Dr. Keys, he had forgotten all the same and that he has no excuse for this error. He then discusses the details of the dinner. The letter is dated April 1, 1940.
