Letter from David James Corrigall to Charles Miller Fisher, August 8, 1946.
Date:
1946-08-08
Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Major David James Corrigall, Commissioner of the Quebec Provincial Division of the Canadian Red Cross Society, to Dr. Charles Miller Fisher, Acting Registrar of the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI). In the letter, Mr. Corrigall states that the Red Cross has yet to receive a bill for $640 from the MNI. As is indicated in earlier correspondence, this bill was for operating room lights which were to be paid for by the Red Cross through a $1400 grant which the organization had made to the MNI for the purchase of such equipment. In addition, Mr. Corrigall also writes that once the MNI receives bills for equipment purchased with the $760 balance of the $1400 grant, the MNI should forward the bills to the Red Cross for payment. The letter is dated August 8, 1946.
