This is a typewritten letter from Dr. James Preston Robb of the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI) to the Eastman Kodak Company. In the letter, Robb inquires into purchasing two Kodatron lights to be used in the MNI’s Military Annex operating room. As he explains, photographs of brain operations are taken using a telephoto lens and requires adequate lighting for rapid image capture. Dr. Robb asks the Eastman Kodak Company for any help or information which would assist the MNI in obtaining the lighting required for its photographic needs. The letter is dated November 27, 1945.
