Letter from Charles Miller Fisher to Paul Vaillancourt, August 6, 1946.
Date:
1946-08-06
Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Dr. Charles Miller Fisher, Acting Registrar of the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI), to Paul Vaillancourt, President of the Canadian Red Cross Society. The letter confirms the purchase of operating room lights, which cost $640 and which were paid for with a grant of $1,400 from the Canadian Red Cross Society to the MNI. Dr. Fisher inquires whether the remainder of the grant money could be retained by the MNI to pay for an additional light, which had yet to be delivered by the Eastman Kodak Company. Dr. Fisher concludes by both mentioning that the lights which had been received are indispensable, and that the MNI is very grateful for the generosity of the Red Cross. The letter is dated August 6, 1946.
