A typewritten letter from McGill University’s Principal and Vice Chancellor, Dr. Frank Cyril James, to Alexander Ross, Deputy Minister of the Department of National Defence. James writes inquiring as to whether he and Ross may sit and meet during James' next trip to Ottawa to discuss the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI). James also passes along Penfield's notes on the furniture and equipment to be supplied to the MNI by the government. The letter is dated January 29, 1945.
