Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Colonel George Currie, Deputy Minister of National Defence, to Dr. Wilder Penfield. In the letter, Col. Currie states that he has received Penfield's previous letter and will endeavour to make a final decision regarding the expansion of the Montreal Neurological Institute shortly. He also notes Dr. Penfield’s interest in having the military provide personnel and supervision for the medical work to be carried out at the proposed temporary addition to the institute. This letter is dated August 4, 1944.
