This is a typewritten letter from Ross Millar, Director of Medical Services for the federal Department of Pensions and National Health, to Wilder Penfield. In the letter Dr. Millar states that he is currently in discussions with other members of the government and military concerning the proposed wartime expansion of the Montreal Neurological Institute. He assures Dr. Penfield that there will be a solution to the on-going crowding problems, but he is unable to offer any additional details at the moment. This letter is dated December 19, 1942.
