Description: A room that was added on to the rectory of Trinity College School to house its first headmaster, Reverend Charles H. Badgely. The rectory was occupied at that time by the school's founder and warden, Reverend William Arthur Johnson, a mentor and eventually a friend of William Osler's. Badgely was headmaster from 1865 to 1870; Osler was a student from 1866 to 1867. Trinity College School was moved from its original location in Weston, Ontario (where this photo was taken) to Port Hope, Ontario, in 1868.
