Description:

Profile bust set against an abstract background. Paradisi was a great scholar and statesman, instrumental in forming the Cisalpine Republic which eh served as Minister of Public Works. He made great reforms based on Napoleonic initiatives and was an ardent supporter of the Emperor whose likeness seems to have influenced this portrait.
