Emmanuel Dupaty (capitaine de chasseurs de la garde nationale) trying to bring abandoned piece of canon into Paris. Next to him Charlet loading rifle.Other recognisable figures. Margariti (un poêlier), M. Bertin, M. Alex. de la Borde, M. Castéra, Amédée Joubert, Amable Girardin. Shows bravery and crucial role played by the National Guard. French people united against Allied Coalition.
