Two images brought together. Bottom : Napoleon's tomb under the willow, next to the spring. Top image: from Horace Vernet: Dead generals (left to right: Lannes, Berthier, Brune, Sélim III d'Egypte agenouillé devant Desaix assis; derrière eux Poniatowski et Bessières). In original painting Monthlon, Bertrand and family left of painting. Between them and generals, Napoleon's hat and sword on the fresh grave.
